She Said It

Scene set up: I am in my chair with my laptop. The Man is in his chair with his laptop. Paige is at the dining table behind us doing her nails. Makenna is on the couch either reading or playing her DS thingy. The television plays before us.

Commercial comes on. It is a commercial for a male enhancement product. I personally wasn't paying much attention as I was trying to defeat my friends at Bejeweled on the Face of Book.

Makenna looks over at The Man and says..."You don't need that."

The Man blinks and says..."What?"

Makenna says...."You don't need that male enhancement stuff on t.v."

The Man looks at me, then looks back at her and says, "WHAT?!?!?"

She laughs and says..."You're tall enough. You don't need to grow any taller."

The Man and I look at each other and bust out laughing.

Three minutes later, Paige is STILL on the floor laughing behind us.

Makenna is puzzled and doesn't understand what is so funny.

I don't think we're going to tell her any time soon.

I know I haven't been around too much lately. I ask that you have some patience and know I'm almost done dealing with all the chaos around here. It's either that, or another different chaotic style is getting ready to start. Who knows with this household. There will be lots for us to talk about very soon. I promise!

i am dying. VERY funny.

I understand the blog absence - its hard to keep up with it when the waves of life hit.

I am totally here for you and love you my dear friend whom I've never met.

And Good luck with the whole enhancement issue.

For the record, I usually consciously ignore those commercials, but from now on, I will be laughing out loud at each and every one!!!
Just wait until Makenna is old enough (or wise enough!) to understand what she said!!!

OMG! Thanks for the laugh!

On a side note, I can't stand those commercials. Especially the one with the guy who's got that stupid smile on his face. Some of the things they do in those commercials is down right nasty!

Bwah! Bwah! Out of the mouths of babes. I'm relieved to know there is no need for the little blue pill at your house.

I crack up at those commercials...because when you have an errection that lasts more than 4 hours its a condition known as "prideism" Rick swears that not what they are saying...but Dude that's what I hear. Come on...any guy who had an errection for 4 hours would soooo be full of pride and boasting...lol

Reminds me of the time we were fasting....and Britt and I were talking about were we were going to eat after the fast. Zach suggested Suzies...we just kind of looked at him and asked what he was talking about. He said, "You know Suzies the adult Super store...thay probably have good grown up food in there!" I CAN'T wait until he is old enough to understand that!

I hear you on the busy thing Hope...there are days right now that all I can do is hold on to my life preserver and tread water my friend...and hope I don't have to yell man overboard!

I'm just glad it was not me. I can see McKenzie or Matthew saying that same thing. God help me and you!

That is so funny. At least at this point she doesn't understand what they were talking about. I just think they are starting to WAY to much on TV these days. I know they don't put those type of things on until later in the evening when they think kids should be in bed but they don't realize that as kids grow up then their bed time changes and they really shouldn't be seeing that stuff on TV until we as parents have disscussed it with them. To me these types of advertisments don't need to be on TV and since they are then they need to be put on after midnight. You know I'll have to tell Ashley about this one. I just what kids come up with.
