Is this right??

My oldest child will register for high school next Thursday.

I am too YOUNG to have a kid going into high school.

Ok...not really. But, jeesh, this is aging me. Next thing you know, she'll want to do something crazy like DRIVE. MY vehicle.

It seems like only yesterday I was taking her for the first day of pre-school. Her little teeny tiny self.

Hold up.

Didn't I just register a kid for pre-school about a month ago???

I might need medication in order to help my thought process change from high school thinking to pre-school thinking in a blink.

This just isn't right.

no no say it ain't so....It's hard to believe. I remember seeing Paige for the 1st time, she was the tinest baby I'd ever seen. You both are so lucky. I remember how fast she grew too. She's a fighter and has been from the start. Little ones are given to us for a reason and I think now looking back, I know why you have Paige (and why you and I had so many long conversations about her). I think you know what I'm talking about, cause I'm not going into great detail about that. Anyway it also tells us why she matured and learned to hold her own so fast. She really has become a beautiful young girl and way to fast...you hear me Paige! Just remember what your Aunt Chelle told you last time...and don't forget!

The boy...isn't it nice to get a break Hope! Preschool is wonderful!

And Makenna....she's your silent child...so sweet, quiet, and self entertaining, like my Abby so far.......

So to close this comment "Is this right??" yes it's right... your'e getting old Hope..you can't help it....the bright side for you...you'll never catch up with me and you still look good...the bad side... read my post...girl life at 40 is CRAZY! I think everything starts falling down and apart!

Girl, I feel for ya. I'm sad thinking about one year olds and second grade. I don't even want to think that I'll be in your shoes in, what, six, seven more years. Yikes.

The spread is impressive if you ask me. Juno's 4 and when we think about having another, we feel the pressure of doing so now rather than later. You're doing OK so far, though. High school will just be a little adaptation. Right?

Paige, you may be headed to high school this fall, but that by no means entitles you to piercings or tattoos. ;)

See, Hope...I'm trying to make up for my revelations tonight!!!
